Mitchell has started to work on the recording side of audio with tools such as Pro Tools, Waves, Sound Toys, and Avid plugins. Along with the software Mitchell has worked with many interfaces for recording such as Neve, Allen & Heath, Apollo, and Focusrite. Mitchell currently has a country EP in the works with local Colorado artists. The EP is expected to be released in January of 2025. Below are a few songs that Mitchell worked to record and mix.
This song was mixed by Mitchell at the 2024 GRAMMY music camp. He worked alongside Yang Tan and other students to record the talented singers and musicians at this camp. This song was written and produced with inspiration from Olivia Rodrigo. This song was created using a, a sub-kick on the drum set, and plugins. Plugins that Mitchell used in the mixing of this song include: Fresh Air by Slate Digital, Ozone Imager by Izotope, Pan Man by SoundToys, H-Compressor by Waves, and Abbey Road Saturation by Waves.

This song was also mixed by Mitchell at the 2024 GRAMMY music camp. This song was written and produced with a greater airy and grungy feeling. The 480L reverb unit was pushed on the vocal bus to match the artist's vision. This song brought together many engineers in the camp to continue to add ideas as the week went on to improve the sound. This song used a tube microphone for lead and backup VOX to achieve better frequency response in the high mid-end area.
